In January 1996, Tod Maffin, the founder of Anglicans Online, travelled to Cuba with a ministry team from the national missions offices of the Anglican churches in Canada and the U.S. The task: To set up a national electronic mail network for the Diocese of Cuba to help the people keep communications channels open.
